7 Months Old!

Bridget turned 7 months on Saturday. She is rolling around like crazy and sitting up like a champ. She is very interested in the world around her, but she is starting to show the beginning signs of the "stranger-anxiety" phase.

Happy Easter

It is a beautiful day in San Rafael and Bridget is enjoying her sleeveless top and sockless feet. We plan to introduce her to the baby swings at the park this afternoon.

Three Ring Circus

Bridget loves playing with rings (and eating them too). We have to be careful what size ring we give her because she has a tendency to get them stuck on her limbs. It is usually pretty funny - until she gets mad when she can't get them off!

Kiss Bridget, She's Irish

Bridget, our "Lucky Charm," is very excited to celebrate her first St. Patrick's Day. She was hoping we would give her some green milk but she settled for a special onesie, green socks, and argyle Baby Legs. Our next challenge is to keep her out of the green beer.

Fine Tuning

Bridget continues to show interest in music. She has liked listening to Madonna from the time she was born. She starts to dance whenever a good beat is on (I'm serious). And now she's taking up the piano, thanks to Grandma Foley's latest gift! She is very disciplined when it comes to balancing practice with play time (ie snack time).

Almost Mobile

Bridget surprised us this weekend by hopping up on her knees. She also showed us a new trick by propelling herself backward with her arms. We'll probably be chasing after her before long.

And I couldn't help posting this one of her looking at Sonya. It totally captures her curious and gentle nature.

Tater Tot

We had mashed potatoes and steak the other night. I made a separate batch for Bridget (without the steak) and she LOVED them. She is truly an Irish girl.
