8 Months Old!

Bridget turned 8 months old yesterday. She is not crawling yet, but that doesn't stop her from getting where she needs to go. Her latest trick is to roll all the way across the room. She is also becoming very chatty. The carseat is her favorite place to showcase her voice and all the various sounds she can make.

Swing Time

We finally introduced Bridget to the baby swings yesterday. She LOVED them. We took her to the lagoon park at the Marin Civic Center. Unfortunately the park is closing next weekend for remodeling and won't reopen until August. But we did some research and found 4 other parks with baby swings in Marin country. We can't wait to check them all out, so it looks like she'll be getting a lot of swing time this summer.

No Sunburn Please

The weather is getting very nice in Northern California. We are trying to get Bridget used to wearing a hat so we can keep her skin protected this summer. She thinks it is a game to pull it off her head as soon as we put it on.

Shaarrrks!!!

Bridget got to experience her very first hockey game last week - and it just so happened to be a playoff game. AND the Sharks won! Bridget was very excited and cheered on the Sharks for the first two periods. She even made a brief appearance on the jumbo-tron. By the second intermission she was worn out and slept for the rest of the game (thanks to some very hearty earplugs).

Pretty Girl

We don't have any big updates on Bridget this week, but here is a pretty picture of her. This was taken by her Papa when the Foley's were in town last week. She is starting to get a little more hair. Pretty soon we'll be able to comb it into a faux-hawk. Maybe we'll dye it teal if the Sharks make it to the Stanley Cup finals!

Batter Up

Bridget took in her first baseball game this weekend. Her Grandma, Papa, and Aunt Polina were in town and we all went to Berkeley to watch Cal play Oregon State. It helped to lift her spirits while recovering from her first official flu/virus on Friday.
