10 Months Old!

Bridget is now 10 months old. She continues to be very active and she has gone from "inch worm" to fully crawling in the last few days. She can also easily pull herself up onto furniture and she is beginning to take her first supported steps - this usually happens when she is hanging on the couch and trying to reach for the remote control.

Fishy Face is SO two weeks ago. Now Bridget is all about the Piggy Face!

That is pasta on her face/teeth (in case you were wondering).

Standing Tall

Look who can pull herself up all by herself! Nathan went in Bridget's room to get her up for the day and this is how she greeted him.

Daddy and Daughter

In honor of Nathan's first Father's Day, here are a few daddy and daughter photos that have been captured over the last 9 1/2 months. These two share a special bond and we can only hope Bridget grows up to love her dad even a fraction of the amount he loves her.

Inch Worm

Bridget is moving around like crazy. She has mastered the art of rolling wherever she needs to go, and lately she has also started using her knees more and more. The only problem is she has not yet mastered the concept of moving one knee at a time. This results in what we like to call the "inch-worm."

Water Baby

Bridget started her "Mommy, Daddy, and Me" swim classes this morning. We got there early enough to see the tail end of the class prior to hers, and boy did she seem excited to get in the water. Our lesson ended up being semi-private, with only one other baby in the class. Milo, a 7 1/2 mo. little boy was not as excited to be in the water. But he seemed to warm to it when Bridget offered to share her kick board with him.

Bridget was all ready to go in her swim diaper, bikini, swim shirt, froggy robe and ducky shoes.

Mommy and Bridget started by practicing blowing bubbles in the water. Bridget showed mommy how much fun it is to drink the pool water.

Bridget and her teacher, Ms. Gina, worked on kicking. Bridget showed a natural talent at the dolphin kick.

Mommy and Bridget practiced more kicks with the kickboard. Bridget also practiced biting on the kickboard.

Bridget and daddy swam around for a few minutes at the end of the lesson.
