Quack Quack
We took Bridget down to the Civic Center lake to feed the ducks. Dad carefully showed Bridget how to rip the bread apart and toss it to the ducks. Bridget then showed dad how to carefully break apart the bread and feed it to herself.

Bridget by the Numbers
15......Bridget's age (in months)
26.5....Bridget's weight (in pounds)
32......Bridget's height (in inches)
95......Bridget's percentile for height and weight for a 15 month old
11......Number of teeth in Bridget's mouth
50......Approximate number of people who thought Bridget was a boy yesterday
1.000...Bridget's Batting average
1000....Wattage of the electrical outlet Bridget uncovered yesterday
Bridget and Kara had a mommy/daughter day together yesterday. Nathan was out of town for work, and Bridget had her 15 month Dr. appointment, so I took the whole day off and Bridget and I had a load of fun. Bridget insisted on wearing blue pants with her blue onesie when we picked out her outfit in the morning. I figured her PINK shoes, PINK stroller, and the FLOWERS on her top would dissuade people from thinking she was a boy. BOY was I wrong! We will continue to work on getting her to keep a bow in her hair.
Once we got home we had some serious playing to do. Our play time included getting out Dad's bat and carrying it around the apartment (I am hoping this is the first step towards a future college softball scholarship?!). Later in the day she managed to figure out how to remove the "child-proof" cover off of the living room electrical outlet. Maybe we won't need to rely on a sports scholarship after all.

Is this a Babe Ruth point??
Bridget's a Lefty!
OK, maybe she's a Righty!
Child Proof? Really?

Shoes and Bags
Bridget LOVES shoes and bags. She always wants to wear shoes, even when she is in her PJs. And she can't have enough bags. Shopping bags, purses, it doesn't matter, she loads and unloads them, and carries them around on her arm. We're still a ways a way from learning to coordinate the shoes with the bag - but mommy is teaching her right.

Vote for Bridget!
Bridget participated in her first presidential election this morning. By participate, I mean she charmed all the voters in line as well as the volunteers. She sat in her dad's lap while he voted. She also got to take an extra "I voted" sticker and she proudly wore it on her shirt as we left (whether it is still there at the end of the day is still TBD).
We took this picture at the front desk of the hotel down the street (our polling place).

Happy Halloween!
Bridget and I spent all day Friday together - I missed her sooo much while I was in Boston for a week (for work). We stayed in most of the day because it was raining, and we didn't go trick-or-treating because she doesn't understand that yet -- but that didn't stop her from getting dressed in her Halloween outfit that Auntie Sara got her! She also spent most of the day practicing sitting, standing, and getting on and off her new "Bridget-sized" chair that Nathan picked up at a consignment shop. Now Bridget has claimed TWO chairs in the house ;)
